Corporate Workshop
Marc begins by telling his own story, from working in banking to his long recovery from brain trauma to becoming an inspirational speaker. He invigorates his audiences with his realisations about stepping outside the comfort zone. About how living within your comfort zone can become your worst nightmare and how living outside of your comfort zone strengthens your focus, your decisiveness and your confidence. Everything you want is waiting for you just outside of your comfort zone. In a business context, that can mean upskilling, innovating, going beyond client expectations or even blue sky thinking.
The workshop encourages participants to increase their self awareness about the things which challenge them. Things such as subjects in school, social aspects, home life and exercise.

Life begins outside your comfort zone
Audience participation is a key part of Outside the Comfort Zone. The audience are challenged to overcome some of the most common fears and challenges which we all face on a frequent basis.
Marc discusses what exactly fear is: How it impacts on our lives, some examples and the benefits of overcoming fear. Employees complete short exercises which provoke thought about self awareness of the challenges they face and the fears they have.
Topics include: Mental health, managing stress, getting what you want, challenging yourself and improving your focus.
Although fear is a serious topic, there is plenty of humour in the workshop.
There is a powerful call-to-action including a plan designed to motivate and help the audience to face and overcome their fears. Follow up is encouraged.
Audience members leave feeling invigorated and ready to take on the world.
Importantly, they feel prepared to take on and overcome any challenges which have been holding them back, including work projects, study and their life outside of work the work environment.
